8TH ANNUAL CHQ GRAN FONDO
2022
Mayville, NY — The eighth annual Chautauqua Gran Fondo took place on Saturday, August 20, 2022, with perfect temperatures for riding. With dew on the grass, 400 cyclists lined up at the start/finish area within Mayville Lakeside Park to begin their route for the day.
Rest stops / aid stations were located at various points along the three routes - 20, 40, and 60 miles in length - including the Barcelona Lighthouse, Crosby’s Exxon in Hartfield, Bemus Point Golf Club and Tap House, Lucille Ball Memorial Park in Celeron, and Hadley Bay Road in Stow.
SAG / Mechanical support was provided at the start/finish in Mayville Lakeside Park by Loud Performance Bike Store, located in Bemus Point, for riders needing a last minute adjustment before the ride or out on the roads for any issues that occurred during the day.
