WATER STREET BRASS TO PROVIDE FINISHING MEDALS FOR 2017 CHAUTAUQUA GRAN FONDO

(JAMESTOWN, NY) — The Chautauqua Gran Fondo has proudly partnered with Water Street Brass of Lakewood, NY, on the development of a finishing medal for all cyclists who cross the finish line at Webb’s Captain’s Table during the 2017 event slated for Saturday, August 26, 2017.

“We are thrilled to partner with this unique team of artisans to add a little more flair to our Chautauqua Proud finish line. Each rider, no matter which route they enjoyed or how long the ride took to complete, will receive this locally-crafted souvenir to commemorate this great accomplishment.”   

Participants of the third annual Chautauqua Gran Fondo cycling event will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Chautauqua Lake and it’s surrounding historic destinations on one of four scenic routes. Riders of all ages and abilities are welcome to join in the fun. There will plenty of rest stops, photo ops and full SAG support on the road. A  family-friendly after-party, featuring lunch, refreshments and live music at Webb’s Captain’s Table Restaurant in Mayville, NY will take place immediately following ride. 

The Chautauqua Gran Fondo is a community event designed to promote health and well being for cyclists of all skill levels while raising funds for local non-profit organizations. This year proceeds will support the Royal Family Kid’s Camp, Western New York Kidney Connection and for the Chautauqua County Veteran’s Endowment Fund.
