COVID-19 Update (7/22/2020)
The following email was sent to all registered participants.
Hello, Gran Fondo Riders.
We are continuing to monitor the Covid-19 protocols and guidelines.
One item of recent concern is the ever growing list of states that our governor has placed a travel ban on.
*We are presently forced to defer anyone registered from one of those listed states. This is to keep them safe, you safe and our volunteers safe in addition to abiding by the mandates placed on us.
**We will automatically be deferring anyone currently registered from Ohio, California and Canada unless you can prove to us that you have been in NY for 14 days prior to the event. Please respond to this email that it has been received and you are aware of the deferral.
This situation is completely out of our control and we know how frustrating this is for everyone concerned.
We are aware that things are changing rapidly and will continue to monitor and pass along information.
We are doing our very best and appreciate your patience and understanding with all of it.
Again, if for any reason you are not comfortable riding we will defer you to 2021. Please let us know and we are here to answer any questions you may have.
